has anyone tried to check their sympatico email recently. When I tried, I get directed to change my password. I see some info about windows live i believe. Has anyone experienced this?
I had this once when logging in from a web browser and disconnected because of it. If I remember right, I tried again and had no problem. I rarely log in through my browser.
thanks for the help everyone. I called up Bell, and changed my password over the phone. I just clicked the close/cancel option when it told me the security certificate has expired. I did find the e-mail that said that sympatico e-mail has been upgraded. I also noticed that the layout has changed. I guess I will be using my yahoo account more.
Basketcase, since I'm not that computer literate, I do care about security but thanks anyways.
Watch it folks. Sinpatico keeps a copy of every email sent and recieved in your computer if you use the Sinpatico e-mail account (***@sympatico.ca etc) I had it a few yrs ago on my Mac and when I went to the finder folder and then under prefrences and then accessed my browser folder I was able to my surprise bring up e-mails I'd sent over a yr ago.
I immediately deleted everything.
For windows users I suggest you find the folder where your broswer is and check any files related to sympatico that say sent in, or trash etc..

You have a 10 gig limit to your e-mails. If you don't use up the space, it stays on the server unless you delete the messages. I have set Mail to delete every week. Or you can do it manually. No big conspiracy here.
