my 2 cents

tattoo goo-made for tattoo SUX!!! ended up in the hospital from it
poly/neo sporin- no good at all you got ink not an injury
Vit E not a great choice (learned firsthand)
Olive oil common in protugal but totally difrent climate (had 2 done there)

I now use the vit A, or calendula slave (natural) and yes curel was the best for me lotionwise, lubriderm made me break out bad on my shoulder.

I have 5 tats and they all scabbed sme more or less than others. They all look great now although color fade/retouching is my next mission (this week I think)

So what's a good place to go for a tat? Preferably Mississauga, but Toronto is good too...

Saw the artist Gen, she is an Austrilian-Canadian and all around cool chick. Made me feel very comfortable. Though this is only my second tattoo, the work from what I can see so far is stunning. They are nice and easy to deal with people and everything is sanitary. Much better than the last place I went which is closed now. Oh yeah, Roommates is right around there if ya need a little pain relief afterwards. Cheers.

Hi again

K, this may sound unorthodox but lube works really well. Make sure you get a waterbased lube, not the other kind. I have almost 20 hrs of ink done on my arm with maybe another 20 to go and have been using lube for years. The only issue you should note is after you get out of the shower or bath (I prefer baths myself) you need to pat it dry gently before slathering on the lube.

May not work for everyone but the detail in my tat is still sharp. I would recommend Rob at www.Bobbyfive.com. He is an artist first and foremost and you will get an original piece of work, he refuses to do flash. He doesn't even charge you for the design process, just $100/hr once you are in the chair. He is my favorite in the city.

Good luck!
