As you all know rogers is ridicilously overpriced, so what are some suggestions to quality programming at affordable rates? What companies do you guys deal with to watch your favourite shows?

I got rid of cable nearly 2 years ago. Watch everything online now. For free. When I want. Most of the streaming TV websites post TV shows the day after they air, some even sooner and some in real time. Some are a pain in the ass to navigate through but you can watch shows almost immediately. Regardless, you can watch what you want when you want. Downside is loss of immediacy, loss of big screen (unless you are tech savvy enough to plug your computer into your TV), loss of channel surfing. Its not for everyone. I normally use Project Free TV but there are better ones out there. Anyhow, its an option.

I agree with CapitalGuy. Also, if you can wait you can always rent DVDs of the shows you miss. You can still get enough over the air stations to still keep you occupied as well.
