Are we having a TERB Christmas Party this year?

Last year's was such a huge success, I cannot imagine skipping it this year, but the time is getting closer and I need to plan my schedule so that I can be in the city for whichever night gets picked.

I hear that Atlanta is favoured over Toronto this year. I wonder what the international TERB judges will have to say about the host city's credentials this time out.

From what I remember, the last five parties have been: Rhino, Rhino, Filmores (no one showed) Treasures, Treasures, New Loco

I'm thinking maybe downtown this year?? Gossip is that the manager at Filmores abruptly resigned, maybe that might be the place to break in a new manager!

Last few x-mas parties at Rhino & Treasures were very good.

Agreed, the Christmas party as well as the St Pattys Day party were both at the Rhino, and the turnout and service was outstanding. Treasures has pissed off too many of the women. John has always treated us well at Loco or Midway, I suppose that is always a possibility.

If it was my choice alone, I'd stick with the place where we have had the greatest success and service, and that would be SR. Its easy to get to, there are plenty of hotels within walking distance and we wont piss off anyone by being there.

Filmores just doesnt ever get a decent turnout, particularly from the ladies.

I have to assume that everyone has now checked out Rhino, so they have no customers left at all, so we should be able to have it to ourselves. Assuming it stays open until then. Or maybe it is awesome now?

The Rhino was certainly a good location for the past 2 events and the food is good there.

I'm an atheist but 'Red Letter Jesus' spent much of his time hanging out with people of ill repute in seedy places. It was mostly puritanical Protestantism and the white-euro portion of the Catholic Church that tarted him up. He probably would have been more comfortable in a SC that halls where our current aristocracy chooses to congregate. The rich and the powerful have spent 2000 years stealing 'Red Letter Jesus' from the meek. I'm an atheist and I celebrate Christmas without too much fuss-- No need to pee in other people's Kool-Aid (Though I would get pissy if somebody tried to sermonize to my yet unborn children on the value of the holiday).

OK, we'll call it a Holiday Party since we're suddenly concerned with whether or not celebrating someone's birthday at a strip club is PC not. Better yet, lets make it a Festivus Party. For the Feats of Strength, I suggest Jell-O wrestling, or perhaps pillow fights.
