And by "pimp" I, of course, mean "manager".

Just had that thought ... and does that mean we should be more wary of possibly meeting said "manager" upon arrival?

Correct me if I'm wrong but at least hearing a female voice and having a conversation is at least one extra layer of filter on the choice (i.e. scratchy voice can also mean heavy smoker)

I'd appreciate opinions from the ladies on here, too, that do rely on it. I think you might want to change that approach, though.

Texting means plenty

1. Her pimp/manager/booking agent/husband/dealer is the one booking the calls back to back
2. She is replying to you while getting nailed doggie style
3. She is sharing a room with multiple girls who are hiding in the bathroom, and its them who are replying to you
4. She has unlimited txt plan on her phone
5. Your too afraid to call to confirm or you're in a place where it isn't easy to make the call (home, work or on the ttc)
6. You're actually texting me, thinking its her you're txting, therefore I will tell you anything to get you in the room, then its a YMMV kinda thing, sorry not my fault!
7. Thanks for your money, sorry no refunds and your review good or bad doesn't really matter as there are way more clients then terb members
8. Its her cousin helping her out because she doesn't want the phone to interupt your session while with her
9. ..........
10. .......... Always call and speak with the girl, txt first but always call afterwards to ensure she doesn't sound like a old fat asian smoker lol, it'll save you time & money

It's not impossible that text only means you're really texting to a pimp. OTOH, a lot of SPs complain about having to deal with so many time-wasters who treat them as essentially a free phone sex line, so there are other reasons an SP might favor the text approach.

I actually prefer texting as I have to keep my set ups on the DL if you know what i mean...

^ me too. Texts can be sent in a second, and answered at my (or the sPs) convenience. Much easier. And wastes less time. Doesnt necessarily mean a "manager". Especially if a girl is visiting, and depending on her cell plan, texts may be way cheaper than the long distance cell charges incurred.

Plus, with all the blood rushing south of my brain in anticipation of a great session, im damned if i can remember addresses / room#s, whereas at least i have a record of it in a txt!!

I only book via email and I never give out a phone number unless the guest has me on retainer. My reason for this is the gross amount of time wasted on the phone with men who are tire kickers, dirty talkers, jack offers, and general time wasters. In the past I have kept vigilant time logs and had weeks where I put in 35+ hrs on the phone answering questions and dealing with nonsense. Add to that the other 40-50 hrs of on the clock time and it made for a very long frustrating week. So I changed my business model and I can keep my administration close to 15 hrs a week which is much more reasonable.

Thanks, Catherine, that's the kind of info I was looking for as I was not aware of the frequency/amount of nonsense. I understand, from the guy's side, keeping it on the DL when she contacts you but I'm talking about the ads that say text-only as a means of contacting her. I think when it comes to established SPs I have no problem with this. It's the seemingly fly-by-nights and travelling-from-Montreal types on Dutts, etc. where it concerns me. But that's where TOFTT reviews and the good ol' Cowboy's Diary comes in handy, I suppose.

See We are the complete opposite, we do not book via txt.. WE as well want to hear the voice on the other end. Txting isnt very articulate.. In our Experience, guy who only txt, dont show up. But the biggest reason we dont book via txt is because my phone is always forwarded to my receptionists. They don't recieve the txts and therefore can't book for you.. plus the last thing I would want to do is double book you and have to cancel it after.

A phone call tells alot, many more variables than a cold txt. Especially tone.

This I see and agree with. When dealing with an agency I will use the phone. From the privacy of my hotel room...

From my own point of view i much prefer the convenience of text / email for sorting out booking details. But i usually offer to call, especially immediately prior to confirm i am a real person who is goimg to show up. Many will be ok with txt, some prefer the call. Im flexible.
