anywhere I hang my hat
I'd like to thank all of our Canadian friends for their rememberence of this special day. I was reminded of our common bonds while observing several flags flying at half staff while traveling thru Hamilton today.

As I said before, although there are political difference, we all share the common bond of this great continent.

Here
I also wish to thank my Canadian friends for remembering the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. Although Americans were targeted and we sustained the vast majority of the death toll, we all should remember that many different countries lost citizens in that attack.

Thanks for taking a break from the flaming and criticizing for a day.

The flags were at half mast for 911 period.

The images of 911 are forever burned in my memory.

Ah

No.

I'm a Globe and Mail guy. And I would sooner eat glass then vote for the alliance.

Hey wrong hole glad to see you're not painting all us americans with the same brush (which is why I despise the left)

No my country is not perfect but hey we'll settle for being the richest and most powerful on the planet.

what???

dude, my comment had nothing to do with you being american or hating americans....i think you took my comment along with ickabod's and somehow ...it became one...

my comments had to do with you wanting the alliance (red necks are us) in power and wanting only right wing media....what does that got anything to do with america????

your insercurity is pretty obvious if you have to state that "USA is the richest and most powerful on the planet" ....again what does this have to do with anything......

I don't really care if you are canadian or american or french (though I must admit, french women are fantastic at oral sex)....I don't judge people by borders...I judge people based on the content of their character.....

btw....I can vote in the USA......I think green is good

Great country, but......

Why is it most Americans have such a hard time taking ANY critisism on their country, its poltics, values and leadership?

9/11 was a tragedy that hit the US harder then anyone else, but not just the US.

My relatives where liberated in WW2 by the American and Canadian troops and will always be grateful for that, but that is 58 years ago. The world has matured and changed, yet the Americans refuse to accept and share.

It's a great country with great people, but a little petty when it comes to critisism.

Just MHO.

Must have misread your original post wrong-hole. But anyways in response to your question about wanting the alliance in power well it would certainly improve strained relations between our contries. I have no insecurity staing my country is the world's greatest (we are) and the foreign liberals hate us for it until we are needed of course. In closing I have no beef with toronto and am looking forward to visiting next month.
sir,

you still don't get it....This is not the board for pledging allegiance to the flag...whatever that flag may be....

I usually stay out of these arguments....but there's been too many threads of who's better...who's best.....that it has become tedious....

the intent of this board is to find beautiful women and tell each other about how they enjoy pegging your arse with a strap-on...or how ref enjoys hiding dead bodies in the trunk of his car (fictional) or rusty's sweet homo-erotic come ons.....or how goober is lurking right now b/c he and sheik have a love/hate relationship...goober loves it when sheik is on the bottom and sheik hates it if he's not on top....:p

What's wrong with the Globe ?

A sad sad day which still makes me emotional - especially when I see the children of the victims . I really am too old to cry....

The left (including here in america) is so anti-american that I can't understand why they're still here,
That's just ignorant. The right in this country reminds me of the silly caricature of a mother who, no matter what her spoiled rich brat of a daughter does in life, she dotes on her, and praises her and tells her how great she is and buys her anything she wants. The left, on the other hand, is like the father who expects the spoiled rich brat of a daughter to actually have some responsibility in life, accept the fact that other people are just as important to society as she is (if not moreso) even though they might not have as much money or be as pretty, and understand that she'll be judged by what she does, not who she is. Both parents love their daughter, but one does so in a way that's for the betterment of society, and one does so in a way that's, well, stupid.

Managed to fuck up a perfectly good thread. Someone was thanking someone else for something meaningful, and the peanut gallery couldn't leave it at that.

Though to salvage some constructive thought from this thread...

Have any (or how many) SPs have had this kind of unpleasant experience with a client; that is, related not to hygeine or physical appearance matters, but to political "pillow talk"? I can't imagine a lot of ladies who'd feel comfortable with somebody spouting off like "americanson" does. (Then again, if there's anybody who qualifies as an Ann Coulter lookalike, she can serve a fetish. But that's another matter.)

Here
I see that we only took one day off from the US bashing. Guess that is a sign that the world is truly getting back to normal. LOL!

I have no problem with anyone expressing his/her dislike for my country, my president or me. But at least give me the courtesy of using original thought backed up with fact.

I find that 90% of the anti-American crap on this board is "cut-and-paste" from left and liberal websites or news organizations who have an agenda. The self proclaimed experts here who drone on and on about how evil we are do not have the intelligence required to formulate an original opinion based upon factual data.

As a result, the political threads on TERB are rarely more than the same band of incestuous hate mongers feeding each other into a frenzy in a fit of "yeah, what he said, and your mother too".

For the record, while I love Canada and Canadians, there are a few of you that simply need to get over your self imposed inferiority complex. You are a great nation, with a long and proud history, with many advantages not found in the US. Be thankful for who you are.

LOL. You talk about lacking original thought, but apparently don't catch on to the fact that the major conservative argument to offset liberals is nothing more than a blanket "They hate America" mantra, which you proceed to perpetuate.

LOL. MM makes a very sweeping generalized statement based on his opinion....not fact, and seems to get agreement from you Vanessa.
Frankly, i've had it up to hear with the pathetic conservative mantra put forth by Mr Muncher that i, and people like me, hate America. If you want an argument that's devoid of original thought (not to mention common sense) that one heads the list.
