We have the best broadcasting crew in the league. Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez are excellent. Buck Martinez has excellent knowledge of the game. In the fourth inning of Wednesday's game when Yesavage was in some trouble with overthrown pitches, Buck says, if I was the catcher I would go to the mound to have a chat and calm Trey down. A few seconds later, Kirk does exactly as Buck suggested and Yesavage calms down and gets out of the inning. We are so fortunate to have these fine broadcasters. They work so well together.
I love Buck but he doesn't have excellent knowledge of today's game. And every once in a while he will make a ludicrous statement. That being said I've listened to other team's broadcast crews and many of them are boring and lack baseball knowledge. Buck at least brings some flavor.

He was the one who hit the lodged ball double. Then saw a solid line drive and did his job as the tying run. There was nothing wrong with what happened.

Worse was Clemente. Pop up in that situation? We needed a long out at least.
There was no way he was scoring on that it was hit far too hard. He knew that. It was a terrible error by him. He's still young and looks to be an emerging star in this league so I'll cut him some slack. If he makes up for it tonight with a tater all will be forgotten.

Who was the only pitcher to start game 7 of World Series 3 times?

(Scherzer’s start tonight will be his 2nd along with only 2 others)

On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Greece
He saw the ball hadn't dropped and the outfielder was charging at it. Okay if there's 2 outs but not one. It's bad baseball IQ.
He said he thought it was going to drop in over the shortstops head but the ball carried further than he thought...Not the right read at all.

To bad because his play has been outstanding thus far.

Espn says they are starting Scherzer against Ohatani...Max has been a ''G'' his whole career. This could be his defining walk away from the game moment.

This is bargers bill Buckner moment. Didn't buckner do that in game 6 and they went on to lose game 7? What a fucking stupid blunder.

obviously what makes it more frustrating was Springer on deck.

don't like our odds tonight, esp with Mookie potentially now woken up.

a shame, would have been obviously wonderful to complete the Cinderella story (esp cauee of Trey).

agree if the catch was clean, but that was not a given. He took one step too many. There were two outs, if one out then you still have two more batters but with two outs you take a risk.
Still, I agree with you but he did have a chance to score.

3 straight fastballs to Mookie in a slump from the game's best splitter thrower, what was Kirk thinking?

Look what happened after we chased the starter, Jays started hitting.

Yamamoto is the only pitcher in the playoffs who has stopped us, and we have faced the best.

On the mound, we have a rested pen along with Trey and everyone except Gausman.

It will be a short leash for Schezer

Vladdy better step up, if not this could haunt him for his career and post career.
A wild guess, but Schneider and Varsho are gonna be the heroes tonight.

I'm getting mad that we now have to play game 7. Thats what I'm getting mad at :(
I would certainly be upset or mad with our lack of execution in the 9th. Not going to debate that. Especially Clement first pitch swing and Barger running.

But the lodged hall think didn’t really impact too much in my view. It’s everything we did (or failed to do) after that.
