Agreed. But there are many of us who remember a decade ago when a Wednesday night had $3 beer and 30-40 hot dancers and VIP lounges. Those days are long gone. The only reason the Manor holds on in it's location is because if they move they will not get another licence from the city of Guelph within it's limits. It's not as bad as people say...there are usually a few lookers there, not extactly a plethora of them but a few for sure.
It also didn't hurt the Manor's fortunes when East End Tavern, the Doll House, and High Thighs all bit the dustAgreed. Only because we all remember how great it was.Seems the terbites in KW like to play 'I remember when...' fairly often.
Probably still rivals Toronto - downhill slide seems widespread.Only because we all remember how great it was.
The Manor rivaled even some of the best in Toronto for talent and action in the mid to late 90's.
It is just a shame to see it today.
I recall those days with fondness. In the mid 90's even the East End Tavern had a decent crop of talent, and $10 dances.Only because we all remember how great it was.
