this place aint what it used to be, even 6 months ago it was better. now expect bouncer patrols of the vip, and I have to say I really dont like the way they opened up the vip area.... totally ruined my fav spot to get a dance in there.

The Manor sucks now...not even worthy anymore to write about.

It's not as bad as people say...there are usually a few lookers there, not extactly a plethora of them but a few for sure.
Agreed. But there are many of us who remember a decade ago when a Wednesday night had $3 beer and 30-40 hot dancers and VIP lounges. Those days are long gone. The only reason the Manor holds on in it's location is because if they move they will not get another licence from the city of Guelph within it's limits.

It also didn't hurt the Manor's fortunes when East End Tavern, the Doll House, and High Thighs all bit the dust :(

I don't ever remember the Manor having $3 beers, maybe that was before my time. But I do remember that in the late 90's they only had the highest quality girls, and you paid more to go there to indulge and savour the quality. No strip club in Toronto or elsewhere could compete with what was on display there.

I was in the other day, saw loads of new girls, back room changed and I liked it. Maybe, they know what their doing or maybe dumb luck, but it said something that they are still in business and these other places are closing. All strip cluibs are having a little trouble currently, among many other businesses esp. licence bars, factories, grocery stores etc....maybe these bars are heading the way the states is currently bring your own and pay a huge cover, this will get the bars away from liability problem and Ontario by laws. No matter what people will complain, I enjoy my time when I go, and as much as a few don't like the place they have enjoy the test of time, dumb luck or not!

I was there 2 Saturdays ago. There were at least 3 top girls and a bartender that was high end eye candy. A shadow of it's former self to be sure but what strip bar isn't these days? It doesn't have the quantity of CB but the quality is higher at the present time.

I was there Thursday they had $4 beers...there were about 4 or 5 girls I'd consider to be very attractive, got some dances overall it was pretty good. Nowhere near 30-40 hot dancers but still an improvement over the last few years.

stopped in for a beer and the place was dead. Had a dance from a girl Marie nice dance but the back room set up is very open as they removed the walls.(still $20 door fee) Reminds me of the days of the $10 dances they had.

I used to frequent most of the SCs but not so much anymore. I like Nikki's the best, although sometimes hit and miss. Still better than most I've visited.

Seems the terbites in KW like to play 'I remember when...' fairly often. Hope it isn't an indication of the lack of current distractions! However, I DO remember when just a few short years ago the Manor was a hopping place with top quality girls on the dance floor (remember Pantera?) and in the backrooms: used to be two - one room more open for cheap $10 gropes and the Flamingo? for $20 and a little more. Beatrice was a favourite for a while - only girl who got me going by tickling my ankles, of all places! Another time we ended up in the stairwell near closing time and we both ended up with blisters on our hands. Haven't been back in over a year, but last experiences were disappointing - it has become worth the drive to Brampton for a good SC, but the hobby has taken me in other directions...

Only because we all remember how great it was.
The Manor rivaled even some of the best in Toronto for talent and action in the mid to late 90's.
It is just a shame to see it today.

Probably still rivals Toronto - downhill slide seems widespread.

I recall those days with fondness. In the mid 90's even the East End Tavern had a decent crop of talent, and $10 dances.
