We seem to be in a 'it is inevitable' mode. There will be more current US based teams moving to Canada. Quebec City and a second team in Southern Ontario seem to be the favorite relocation places.

I believe the next team to pick up and come north will land in QC and I do think it will happen before the start of the 2013-14 season.
Another team will land here, in Southern Ontario. A couple of years ago it seemed Hamilton was a shoe-in, but now it seems Markham, if they do build that NHL sized rink, will attract an owner to bring in a second team to the GTA. Do not kid yourself, I believe some owners are drooling to get a chance to get into this market and if there is an NHL sized, brand new arena just waiting for an NHL team, one will come.
I would like to see Bettman try to tell an owner, who has played along with the plan, to now turn a blind eye to a relocation where he could finally turn a profit.

I would love to have a second team in the GTA and I am not so sure the new owners of the Toronto Maple Leafs would be against it.

The NHL over-expanded into southern states, it was fine when the economy was humming. But when the economy is weak, those southern states teams really struggle. Because they don't have a natural fan base. Even here in Metro Detroit, the Red Wings are the number 3 pro team, Lions and Tigers are more popular. The Pistons are about equal or a little less than the wings.
If the NHL was smart they should let a team move to Hamilton.
