People go nuts when they're giving out free samples at Costco. Its like the never ate in their life.

The worst line up is when they're giving out samples of pizza and a month ago I saw one that was giving out brownies samples . Women were lined up for the brownies.

Sometimes they give out samples of a salad dressing over some salad, nobody gives a fuck. But pull out the pizza..sometimes the customers argue amongst themselves as someone tries to take 2 pieces. (bite size pieces not slices)

The whole lane is jammed with carts that can't get through. People go nuts for free food.

The other day I was near the protein powder section and they gave me a whole large protein bar as a sample.

Not nearly as bad as people lined up on Ontario Street in St Catharines for 45 minutes to save $.05/L on gas.
The stations there have been having a gas war of sorts for a few months.
The regular fill up you might save $2 and burn more than that idling waiting to get to the pumps.

The Costco mentality must be carrying in from the parking lot.

It was the same mob mentality back in the day with Knob Hill Farms, but they didn't give out sample as far as I remember. Don't get in the way of some of those crazy shoppers or you'll get trampled.

$0.97.2 at the Esso on Ontario and Hiscott is not exactly gas war pricing. I've been filling for $0.95 for weeks around here, and $0.96.5 today

They were out of regular, filled up on premium for that price.
Go late at night, no lines. Line-ups are for ninetofivers.
