Receiving death threats, threats of bodily harm, and threats to my home, safety & security. All communications have been sent to Fred for his review. I will not post the info publicly here unless given the okay by the MODS, as I am happy to leave it to Fred. Please PM me for the info.

Have you contacted the police? If not, why not?
Of course. Thank you. I am familiar with Wendy at Metro and have already taken efforts to get this info to her. Fortunately I know where he works, have an excellent description, many emails to trace IP's. He was fairly carefree with info when we met, and apparently careless in his discretion with his wife. His wife found out and he decided it was my fault, and other women like me.

think she means she doesnt want to rat the guy out quite just yet.
You're kinda right... I'm an adult, and not a criminal, so "ratting someone out" isn't really in the scope of my life. I think appropriate discretion should be the default position in any conflict. I immediately created a "paper trail" of sorts, for my own protection. I've left it to Fred & the MODS to decide if this issue warrants a public "outing" of this person here on TERB - after all, it is his (their) board.

I run my business with more discretion than most are used to, and treat my clients very well & very respectful. Whether the threats came from his wife (which did cross my mind) or from him, I am not some pushover, or naive girl who can be intimidated. I am a normal person, living a law-abiding life, and feel completely within my rights to request that the laws designed to protect us be enforced. Notifying the Police is what I feel is appropriate for the practical matter of protecting myself should this person actually be thinking about following through on their threats. My post here is simply that I felt the situation was serious enough to make an effort to warn the other girls. I am not a drama queen nor do I yell "fire" unless I REALLY think there is a fire. ;)

----- This is a very good attitude!

As for the immature idiot who decided to threaten you because he got caught maybe. It shows he’s extremely childish in his behavior. For me anyone that would directly or indirectly point the blame at another person for them getting caught in participating in his own adultery is stupid.

What it shows me is he, is emotionally immature, and can not accept responsibility for his own actions. The worst part is he has resorted to childish threats on the wrong person. When all he has to do is look dimly face to face in the mirror and accept responsibility for you own part in all of this.

umm yeah except in this case the person in question knows where you live and is threatening you with harm other than just a "F U". Hopefully it's just empty posturing but in my books AJ is doing the right thing by notifying Fred and the police.

No need for threats in the biz as this violates the trust necessary to enjoy the high end of the biz (repeats, outcalls to home, info sharing). This goes both ways (clients and SPs). If only e-mails and no voicemails it could be the guy's wife venting at you (hell hath no fury, etc), but how does she know the home address? Best to take the steps you have taken to be on the safe side.

Are threats on the rise?

I have had three ladies that I am friendly with say that they have been threatened. All in the last month or so. Some of physical harm and one threatened to be outed in public.

Feel sorry for the ladies how have to put up with these asses.
I think it is... sadly. Bad behavior tends to accompany difficult economic times. Added stress makes people less careful & provides them with a shorter fuse. We all have heard the saying "desperate times call for desperate measures." Desperate people do (stupid) desperate things.

If I was actually "mortally" afraid of this guy then this might bother me more than it is. At this point it's kind of how I felt about the garbage strike - really irritating and will potentially cause an uncomfortable situation in my home. In this day of civilized, verbal negotiation I think getting physical to resolve conflict is completely juvenile, but I am prepared. In stature & girth I am bigger than this guy - I'm a BBW but have a large Nordic-esque frame, I'm strong and I have tools to level the playing field. I know how to protect myself.

LOL!!! This is so freakin' ridiculous! What other job does a girl have to think about taking out someone's kneecaps?! Roller derby maybe?? Wish I could skate! Crap....

Take ALL threats seriously. Just as the law considers replica weapons as harmful as real ones. It's the 'cry wolf' effect of sorts. But, it protects every one, especially the victim of the threat.

I wasn't trying to imply that you were mortally afraid of him, I was just merely stating that your situation was potentially a little more serious than some guy flipping you the bird on the highway.

I agree that it's a bad idea to turn it into a physical conflict... while I'm sure you are as tough as you say... they haven't created a human that's tougher than a bullet.

I'm glad that you have dealt with it in the manner that you have.

Well, he didn't threaten to shoot me. He prefers arson. To quote him, improper grammar and all, "i wish women like you would be burned to death".

Lol!

fine replace tougher than a bullet with faster than a pail of gas and a match from behind.

and just to be a tease... if you're going to twit him about his grammar you really should spell arson correctly. :p
