I never understood why Elisabeth Berkley and by extension Janet Jackson have been so vilified. Showgirls was a shitlog of a film that blacklisted Berkley. Paul Veerhoven was more responsible for the film being a colossal flop than she was.
The new film is called Shell, it looks like a dark comedy chick flick...there doesn't appear to be a trailer. The film is directed by Max Minghella who was the creator of The Handmaid's Tale. It has an all star cast with Kate Hudson, the two Lizzies (Berkley and Moss). I hope the film does well. Ms Berkley deserves to recover her career.

Yes, he also directed Robocop and The Third Man, even talented directors squeeze out turds. If the Bud Spencer classic Even Angels Eat Beans had not been made, there would be no Blazing Saddles.
