Despite all the media ass kissing......

....I usually hate athletes that are coddled/promoted by the media....like Sid Crosby,Lebron James, etc. But I find myself liking Tiger Woods....maybe because, in spite of how much he is seemingly over hyped...he delivers, time and time again...there is no doubt that when his career is over he will be considered the best golfer of all time, and there is a case to be made that he is there now...

That was fun to watch.

At first I was cheering for Tiger to win. Then I heard a bit about Sean O'Hair
and I was rooting for him to win.

I would have preferred that O'Hair played better down the stretch, but either way it was fun to watch.

Saw a 60 minutes piece on Lebron James, showed LBJ to be a pretty darn good guy.

What stuck out in the Lebron piece was how articulate he is. For a guy with his backround (high school grad, no college) he was well spoken and seemed very grounded.

I also find myself cheering for Tiger. He just makes more clutch shots than anyone ever has.

In this age of "thuggery", I was impressed when LBJ was asked if he ever got in trouble. His reply: "Never". I am also impressed at how articulate and focused he was.

There was a great piece in a recent Sports Illustrated about how athletes screw up their finances. One of the big Red Flags they pointed out was when athletes used their family/friends as their agents/business advisers.
I noticed that LBJ did just that, which is scary. I hope that it works out for him. I also hope he stays in Cleveland after his contract.

I am still trying to figure out if that was edited, or if it really was "one take" as Lebron claimed...

I did not even know that LBJ had 2 kids.

I'm surprised it's only two. From Tom Brady to Eric Moulds, it's kids without fathers for male sports figures. Now Madonna wants to take some kid out of Africa for her own pleasure and amusement. Kids are like pets now. Everyone has 'em, why not me!!

PS That was a hell of a shot, and I don't think it was edited.

How can he be that good ?

Did you see his workout regime.. it's sick..
that coupled with some raw talent, and we are truly blessed.

what a put. i was sittin with my buddy, and he was doubting that he would
make it.. I laughed, and said, he's Tiger. I wouldn't be against him.

fantastic. can't wait too get out.

cheers.
