Whenever I get my coffee, I always ask for one cream and one sugar. For some mysterious reason, whenever a certain staff person makes my coffee, there is less cream in it and it appears "blacker."

From what I understand, the staffers just press the cream button once for each cream a customer has asked for, so how is it that my one-cream coffee is never the way I want it only when this particular staffer makes it? I could understand if I was asking for two creams and only got one, but I'm not getting it black but it's also not the normal one-creamer.

WTF!?! Is there some trick I'm missing???

she is pushing the wrong button.............the cream machine has 5 buttons, small, med, large,xlarge..........so if your asking for a med, and she pushes the small button your getting less cream

I hate those cheap lids they put on the coffee sometimes or when the coffee is overflowing at the top and you end up spilling some in the car.

Ugh! Starbucks. Can't stand the stuff. Same with Second Cup. I'm not going to pay a premium for something I don't like.

I'll be sticking with Tims.

I gave up hoping they would get it right, so now I ask for milk and sugar on the side and fix it myself. Take a whiff of the little milk container before you leave the counter or drive thru because they are often well past the best-before date.

It's been good to know ya
I remember when I used to work at Cross Country Donuts (long time ago now) the first cream machines they had had only two buttons a one button and a half button. We used to put one cream in a small one and one and a half in a medium and two in a large for a regular and the same thing we did with the sugar so the taste would be equal to the size. For doubles or tripples we would just add one additional sugar or cream as usual. That one additional sugar in a large seemed to fix the problem quite well no matter what they asked for be it double or tripple. I find the same problem when changing sizes in my regular coffee that the large will always taste too strong to me. Not enough sugar or cream in a large cup dependant on where I go. Yet sometimes they are perfect. I think that is the problem they are pressing the wrong buttons or improperly trained.

I don't know how many times I have bought a Tim's coffee and ended up tossing it out on the dam road because of the taste. What I don't understand is why a Large Regular can't taste the same every time I order it? Some days I get a coffee that is awesome, other days it ends up out the window after one sip. How difficult is it to make a coffee the same every time?

Spend 50 cents more for a Starbucks.

The coffee is 10 times better and you put in your own cream and sugar.
You pay double/triple the money for bad service, bad attitude, and warm copy. Star bucks has won only on advertising and massaging the egos of those (you excluded since your are a Terbite) who think that expensive coffee is better.

Yah! This is why I drink my coffee black, just too confusing.
Is it just me or are people behind the counter at Starbucks always stoned? They sure seem like it.
Girls who work at donut shops are at the top of my list for great in bed.

Some people are willing to pay the 'true cost'- given that Starbucks has a reputation for paying their employees and suppliers fair wages. And I think the service is actually pretty good there.

I still think it's overpriced, just pointing that out.

My experience has been worse service at Hoton's.

It has nothing to do with egos or marketing for me, I just prefer the coffee at Starbucks. I find the stuff at Tim Horton's tastes like burned tea. By the way, the Tim Horton's marketing isn't exactly bush league. They make you feel un-Canadian if you don't drink it.

I used to drink Tim's, but after spending a lot of time in the U.S., I learned to like Starbucks. Maybe for a Canadian, it's an acquired taste.

How does Dunkin' Donuts coffee taste compared to Tim's?

BTW, I remember there used to be a few Dunkin' Donuts locations in Toronto if I'm not mistaken and now they are all gone.
