My kitten has been missing since 5ish and we have looked everywhere in the place....

Cats have an amazing ability to hide & not be found, if you're sure that the cat hasn't got out, I'd say let it be, it will surface when it is ready to

My guess is that it found a cozy place to sleep. Try looking through your laundry or under your bed covers etc. Unfortunately kittens tend to be clumsy at times and there are a lot of bad places a kitten can go and not get out of or back from. you gotta kitty proof your place for at least a month.

A friend "lost" her kitten at home. She eventually turned up - up inside the boxspring of the bed.

I might suggest getting a good quality cat food. Since the tainted wheat scandel, I've been feeding with a Canadian product.

It is called "Orijen"

not cheap. But one of my cats had the runs constantly on "grocery store" food, but is doing very well on this stuff. Both cats like it, and do not seem to overfeed.

I actually folded the laundry and was putting away clothes the kitty jumped in the drawer I didnt notice... and closed the drawer... they are deep drawers and she fell asleep on soft clothes.....

Esco... I was being sarcastic about the pitty....
