Go with a Toto. Seems to be much more reliable.

I have that Numi, 2 of them actually and the main valve went on one of the units. They ordered the part early Dec and didn‘t get it in until late January.
Thank you so much. I was looking at toto as well.

Looking to replace my current toilet. My toilet is good and use wet toilet paper or wipes after a poop. I prefer a quick body shower if possible at home.

Looking to get a new toilet. Was thinking of a bidet type of toilet. Any recommendations? I looked at this one: https://www.kohler.ca/en/products/t...t-toilet-dual-flush-30754-pa?skuId=30754-PA-0

It is pricey but seems worth it. Anyone use one?
Seems like something you are serious about. Maybe think about getting one of these.

second this - Toto is an excellent brand. Spend the extra money and get the controls/bidet/built in ass-dryer etc.

Do you need one large enough to shove women's heads in there like your namesake ?

Vacuum assist. You know those times that you know it's there but it is lingering. If you ignore the thought, you know you may face catastrophic shit spasms when you are in a traffic jam. Now you just reach over and press the vacuum assist to give that extra effort that you can't muster on your own. You would have to make it variable vacuum so Grandpop doesn't lose his dentures using it.

1. Kohler is an excellent choice. Make sure it's an elongated bowl so you have more room for the unit to avoid kissing the cold porcelain.

2. NEVER EVER use wipes, even if they are marketed as "flushable wipes". They definitely aren't flushable and will clog up your drains when they form a huge ball in the sewer. Can't stress this enough.

3. They make different heights of toilets - standard height, comfort height. Comfort height is a couple of inches taller and makes it easier to stand up if you are experiencing mobility issues. But they definitely make taking a shit harder because you aren't in a squatting position.

4. I'm not a big fan of the fancy seats they call bidets these days. While they are better than nothing, they offer 0 access for you to clean your ass or cock. It just sprays water. I hugely prefer the old school European "pony" bidet, horizontal sprayer in fact as you can throughly and easily clean up with soap and water .

Funny my first thought was.."jeez what twisted thing has Rocco got in mind now?" LOL. But as said before, I always respected Rocco as he is always above board and honest about his desires, so his play partners can honestly know and consent to the agenda (which is definitely not for me).

That being said, loved the Kohlers and definitely get the "comfort" version which is higher off the ground. Some models have a gasket you gotta replace every 5 or so years but it is easy to do and the replacements cost under $10. Also allows the half flush.
However, I bought mine 10-12 years ago.
