The Nuvi 650 is an excellent GPS with impressive performance. I found Nuvi 650 is best top of the line GPS.
The unit is loaded with features - far too many to try to include all of them here. However, the unit speaks the names of streets and turns BEFORE you get to them. In addition, if you change your route for any reason the unt will automatically create a new route. Just suction the mount to the windshield, snap the 650 in place, and enter your destination.
The unit has a large screen which is nice; however, it does not interfere with your view of the road.
The unit is light enough to carry with you and solid enough that you don't have to worry about too much when you do carry it.
There are a ton of Points Off Interests (POI) and basic info to go along with POI - like telephone number.
There are other EXTRAs that are very goods SD CARD SLOT FOR MEMORY EXPANSION. The MP3 player is excellent great sound quality and is surprisingly good when using headphones.
Transferring files between the unit and your PC is very easy. It comes with updated (2012 North American map)
