I'll concede that a song is more than it's lyrics, but Holy Kadoodle - those lyrics suck badly! They read like a Grade 9 poetry contest entry!

Maybe the song means something to you personally that's a lot more profound than what Springsteen is actually saying.

ive met him 3 times, plus the band. seen him over 50 times. his act never gets old. plays every song like it his last. i saw play TRAPPED in jersey on the 8th nite of 10 shows, he also played FOLLOW THAT DREAM, excellant! my hero!

Hes no Ian Curtis I agree,and the lyrics aren,t,anything,without him singing them,but his conviction in singing them is what makes the song

Trapped touches a place if your stuck in a bad relationship,and is for one friend of mine in that situ.plus for anyone else going through the same.
