I uninstalled my AutoCAD program and am now recieving an error message saying the serial number is invalid when I try to reinstall it. I purchased the program second hand four years ago and the installation went perfect back then. The serial number and code are correct, so I am not sure what is going on. The installation process starts out with the request for a serial number, so I have no other options (boxes or buttons) to click.
Just as a test, I uninstalled my PhotoShop and it reinstalled w/out a problem. I restarted my computer in both instances and also checked to see if the program still showed up in my control panel, on the desk top , etc., and it was not there. I am working with Windows 98.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance.
PS There is an authorization number written on the inside of the jewel case, but I do not recall using this when I installed it four years ago. I did purchase it from a business so I think it was for various user access.
