All sides have presented their conditions to end the war. Nobody can agree on anything. So the war will continue and from the sounds of things Washington will wipe it's hands clean of the whole mess. Leaving it to the Europeans, who have neither the military might nor the industrial capacity to bring the war to an end. Russia will clear the four oblasts already annexed into the Russian Federation and I'm guessing at that point they will pause to give peace one last chance. If Ukraine doesn't accept Russia's conditions, Russia will move to take Odessa, Kharkov, Dipro and Nikolaev

I tend to agree. Putin would be stupid not to take advantage of Trump betraying ukraine, and he is not stupid. USSR is coming back and the 1984 scenario of a few superpowers dividing the world is on a horizon.

Why would Zelensky go for peace if he's getting record personal revenue continuing this war? Except if Trump pulls out, EU will be footing the bill for Zelensky's grifts...

The USSR isn't coming back though. Putin wants nothing to do with that and you can see that in how their military is organized. The USSR had around 5 million men at arms at the height of the cold war. The Russian Federation has half that on paper, likely less due to losses in Ukraine. If the Russians are going to take all of Ukraine, the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, half of Germany and all the central Asian 'stans then they will need to mobilize tens of millions of men. There are zero indications that Putin has any plans to do that. They have enough to handle Ukraine and that's about it
