Ok folks.

Is it just me, but if I were POTUS and I was about to go on national television to report how Tylenol is linked to Autism, I would have maybe practiced once or twice about being able to pronounce it correctly?

Just my 2 cents...

... And I might ask if Cuba has Tylenol instead of just half-remembering an email forward from 1996...
... And I might check up on that Andrew Wakefield guy before repeating his BS from 1998...

If you've ever wondered what would happen if you let the fat boomers who hang out at your local breakfast restaurant and don't tip run the world, you have your answer.

As a country, when did America become so stupid to stop listening to science and scientists and start listening to RFK and reality TV show hosts?

When did America become that stupid?
It's been a process. A deliberate one. You can't fool an educated and unified populace, so you need to shame higher education and pit the people against each other. It's the Republican playbook for decades now. They really have no genuine platform anymore other than this. Why else would we want to defund the Department of Education?

The only thing I'm trying to figure out is where the grift is? I heard some stuff about promoting drugs that his friends are invested in but it seems spurious rn. What isn't spurious is that there surely is money being made bc of this, by Trump and his buddies, and that's the only reason for it.

I agree! There is an agenda for why they have isolated Tylenol without any real science behind it.

Very sad but you are absolutely correct.

You know, in Sweden, some cities banned private schools. The reasoning was that without private school wealthy parents would invest to make sure their kids get the best education in the best public facilities.

Some would be offended that rich people should pay more than others. I say shut the fuck up and pay ;)

This is what happens when the manufacturers of Tylenol did not bring Baby Trump gold, frankincense and myrrh...

I remember when my dad was fighting a type of cancer that is ALWAYS fatal, there were predatory dream merchants selling various teas and elixirs with testimonials about how it cured them of cancer. My dad was the furthest thing from gullible... but when you are desperate you will try anything.

Oz and Trump using the FDA to indirectly market products they are selling is an outrageous conflict and absolutely unethical. Oz, like every physician, knows autism is unfortunately a genetic defect, whether hereditary or accidental. It's not like thalidomide. Autism has been around forever, just more kids are diagnosed now.

If he hasn't already, Oz should have his medical license revoked by the College/Board or whatever professional group accredited him. Nothing will happen federally or in Congress.

Fucking predators.

Cognitive decline.

As for RFK I think a medical issue has changed his brain chemistry, like what happened when the Senator from Penn state had a stroke. Couple that with genuinely evil Steve Millars, and a cowards lot in Congress, and here we are.

I don't think many people realize just how textbook malevolent Stephen Miller is. Nor how influential he is with Trump. Trump can't think up these complex policies himself. He simply does not have the education nor knowledge in the various fields. Don't get me wrong, I think Trump is highly intelligent but more in his skill in knowing how to self-promote and manipulate people and systems.

But Trump has no 'policies', and no convictions... other than those for fraud.

I read a book on MIller and have watched a few YT videos about him, with him in them in his early years and his own back story.. as told by him. He is a guy who simply likes to be a hurtful shit disturber. Likely because he is so fucking ugly and lost his hair so young etc. Seriously.

(Malevolent is an adjective that means having, showing, or arising from intense, often vicious, ill will, spite, or hatred. It describes something that is wanting to cause harm or evil, has an evil or harmful influence, or appears evil. )

Aside from the grift mandrill noted, there is this theory.

My oldest son has autism and believe me, we lived this and then some. They're insane - autism was discovered 40 years or so before tylonel hit the market. This administration is destroying rhe country and they're doing it faster than expected.
Condolences, that's a hard one to live with. After reading Ian Brown's book I was devastated, but hope your kid is higher functioning and doing ok.

Aspirin - problematic if you are prone to internal bleeding.

Acetaminophen - even a mild overdose can destroy your liver.

Ibuprofen - can exacerbate internal bleeding, but not as much as Aspirin. Can be hard on the kidneys if you have Chronic Kidney Disease.

Naproxen - can exacerbate internal bleeding, but not as much as Aspirin. Increased risk of heart attack or stroke with long term use or high doses.

Opioids - addictive, and possibly fatal in overdoses.

What's a person in chronic pain to do?
