I am trying to find out on line how to renew my Brit passport and I am usually a master at searching Google but this one has me totally stumped.

Anyone know a link of where to find the renewal for a uk passport?

Easiest way to renew when you are out of the country is ask your UK representitive for assistance.

The office in Toronto should have paper copies of the application available. Best to check with them first to get an idea of the fees involved

My family renewed ours about a year ago through applications picked up from the office in toronto and they were processed really quickly and didn't ccost near the amount on the web site.

The british consolute office is in ottawa. You can contact them, they can mail you the forms and such, and then you can send back all that is needed right to them, no muss, no fuss - and the fees aren't stupid. Just check canada411 for the consulate phone number.

If you are in Ottawa, you can go to their office (not far from Parliment) but the passport office is only open 9 am to noon monday to thursday.

Using Currency Converter it's actually cheaper to send your application to the UK! Don't know if you can, though.

Perhaps I should have used a larger font in previous post.

It would be cheaper by about $70 US to renew it in the UK by mail. Who says you can't?
