OMG, this was one of the WORST finales ever. Maybe even THE worst. So many decisions, so many boring fights. The final (rematch) for TUF was such an anti-climactic disappointment.

At least I didn't pay anything to watch!

I mostly agree, too many decisions. The actual TUF finale was ok though, in that it was a valid submission, I thought. Dollaway seemed to be saying that he did not tap, but it was certainly a single tap, and he was in a clean arm-bar that he clearly could not get out of, so I don't really what basis he had to complain.

Looked to me like a double tap but I will concur that it was the worst one thusfar.
I once made a fledgling fighter tap out with my submission hold that I call the Titty Bar.
It's all fun and games for the first 25 seconds..lol

That was a definite tap.
I did't mind the decisions and though the Diego vs. Fiorvanti fight was good along with the Fisher vs. Stephens fight but the main event was sad, Evan Tanner needs to hang em up.

I felt kinda sorry for Tanner...he had the whole hobo look goin too lol. CB looked like an idiot claiming he didn't tap. That was locked in tight.

I wouldn't use the word boring to describe this but I would say it wasn't the greatest card ever. But it was never going to be anyway. It was free and it was new so I take it with a grain of salt. The next PPV Rampage/Griffin I believe will also be somewhat boring as well. I also see that the UFC will try a free card on July 19 with Spider moving up in weight to try to draw viewers away from Affliction Fedor/Silvia. Maybe we will have a boxing type situation soon with the UFC, Affliction, and EliteXC being the associations like the WBA, WBC, and IBF. Just a thought.

All of the UF finales have been free and I don't ever remember them being that boring. I actually had to channel flip to keep my sanity. :p

Finally, fedor is matched with someone semi-respectable.
I personally don't like Silvia's game because it's damn boring.

Fedor - round 1 tko/submission.

It was on the last episode of the show. He kicked out the window of his limo on film and supposedly was drunkenly harassing all sorts of women. I think what Dana tossed him for though was calling on his UFC 'fame' (and abusing their brand name) when confronted by security.

It wasn't the greatest card last night but as a free card I was still happy.
As far as the tap, I agree he clearly tapped. Seemed more like an instinct tap than a conscious decision, something CB will have to work on as he moves up further in the sport. I know a lot of fighters that will tap as soon as they are caught in a submission, you are trained to tap sooner than later. The problem is when you go into the big show you want to push a little harder to get out of the submission (maybe hold on to the bell if you can) and fighting the instinct to tap is not easy. I'm not even sure he knew he tapped at the moment, just reacted. Anyway that's just my take on it, all in all I was happy with the fight.

I am really looking forward to the Affliction fight in July, great looking card and if they can keep putting together cards like that they'll be able to pull in the crowds and compete with the UFC.

Agreed.
Diego is a f**king maniac!
It's the "all hands on deck" mentality that he has. It wins him fights but also gets him into trouble. Every fight I've seen with him though is fastpaced and entertaining.

I agree. Diego has improved his stand up 10 fold. I'd even say he has the fastest roundhouse head kick in the ufc. Fast and hard
