Unable to Access TERB

This is the first time in about a week that I have been able to access TERB. I posted something here last week about this. When I put TERB in my address bar I am automatically sent to a page called the "Red Cap Linux Test Page" (or something like that).

Someone suggested last week that I clear all cookies and then try to enter from a google search. This worked once and then I was once again directed to the test page. As an added bonus, I was also unable to access PERB, just with a page that said access forbidden.

A friend who is very computer savvy told me that he has seen the test page and that it is a "hackers page". He suggested that I might have a virus and to do a scan (incidentally -I am on a Mac Powerbook so I usually to not really consider virus too much). I did a scan and sure enough found 5 infected files in Java applets.

Got rid of these-rescanned and came up clean. But I could still not access TERB or PERB. Still got the test page.

I also tried resetting Safari (did not work), Firefox, and Explorer. Nothing. The strange this is, when I took my computer to my friends house (different ISP) I could access TERB.

Anyway-today, when I tried ti sign in, suddenly TERB appeared and here I am.

Anyone else having these sorts of difficulties lately?

We decided to block or by-pass some networks that were causing us problems.
You should call your ISP and ask them to issue you a new IP if you're having problems.
Alternatively you acces the site via a proxy.
If you are seeing the Linux test page when you try to access TERB that means your network is on our blacklist.

Perhaps his network was released from the block list .

I can now access both Terb & Perb. What do you mean by IP ?

This does seem to make sense as I could get on to Terb from my friends house.

What about this Red Cap Linux Test Page? My friend was certain that this was some sort of hackers page. He runs a server and says that the folks behind this page have tried to attack him before.

IP : internet protocol
You get sent to the Linux test page if your IP is blocked from the server, no, it's not a hacker's page.
