How long is reasonable in terms of waiting for a response to an inquiry made to an SP? Also, if you have seen the SP before, is it ok to send another e-mail a couple days later to ask if she had received the previous one, or is this too intrusive?
I personally try to answer my emails within 12-24 hours (most of the time it is much sooner). I have no problem if someone sends me an email after 24hours to ask if I received an earlier email .... sometimes the message could have gotten filtered or deleted or eaten by the internet.
If it is a question of wanting an appointment I would re-send the message after 12 hours if the request for the appointment is soon or even give her a call.
I'll wait up until 48 hours... and then make another SP choice. If I've seen them before... I'm sure they'd have no problem with me sending a follow up e-mail. But the chances are I'd probaby be using their phone number on follow-up visits.
