Is this yet another reckless move by Donald Trump that he's attempting to push through without proper oversight, one that seems destined to end in failure? Once again, it appears to be a unilateral decision, made without consultation or regard for broader national interest. The question now is will there be significant pushback, not only from Democrats but also from members of his own party? Will Congress step in to exercise its constitutional responsibility and prevent this from moving forward? More importantly, will the American public stand by and allow such a decision to go unchallenged? At what point do the American people say enough is enough? How far is Trump willing to go, and how much is he willing to risk, to serve his own political or personal agenda, even if it means selling out the very country he claims to represent? If Trump's attempt to send his military into American cities to do his dirty work has not turned the military against him, this betrayal will certainly do it. Will this blunder get him dragged into the street of Washington D.C. leaving a brown trail of his own leakage from his DEPENDS adult diapers to the nearest tree with a rope on it?

So I looked into this a bit. It's a training facility for F-15 fighter jet pilots under the direct control of the US military. Apparently Singapore has a similar arrangement.

Do I think the Air Force 1 bribe was involved in this? Absol-fucking-lutely. Is it overtly nefarious? Not sure how a tiny place like that is a real threat. Sounds more like Qatar is paying for access to advanced training and maybe better access to military equipment. It also signals what I think is the continuing desire of these ME royal families to Westernize to a degree. Or set themselves up for when the oil dries up. Or the Islamic revolution hits.

Anyway, this isn't support either way, just an opinion on it.

It's just a building or three on an international training base. It's not some sort of forward military operations base like the 800 the USA has across the world.

Many foreign allied air forces are trained on American fighter jets on US soil.

It's often, if not always, part of the deal when these countries buy US aircraft. Including maintenance training etc.
