I have always been with Bell Mobility but recently changed to TELUS because of better coverage. Now TELUS and Bell have decided to share towers. I would like to change back to my Nokia 6185 from my new TELUS Sanyo 6000.
I much prefer Nokia but TELUS does not sell Nokia Phones.
There is a way to unlock phones so they can be used on any network.
If anyone can help me in how I go about unlocking my Bell Phone to use on TELUS it would be greatly appreciated.
I know this can be done its just a matter of finding someone who can do it.

I have found companies in the states that do it but I would rather have it done around here.

Thanks in advance,

The PeNN

Telus has always used Bell towers ever since they came into Eastern Canada.
I have a 6185 that I use on Telus, they only sold Nokia when they started out.

any telus dealer should be able to reprogram your phone. Different carriers use different digital technology - Bell is CDMA, Rogers is TDMA or GSM. The 6185 is CDMA and is easy to program
you need an unlock code though usually from your carrier has it.
Just ask a Telus dealer they should do it for you
