I recently saw an sp in Ottawa who is from Montreal. God Bless those ladies who travel to Ottawa from Montreal and help us out here in Ottawa. I reviewed her in the Ottawa section so if you care to you can read it. Her name is Shauna.

Anyway, I have been Hobbying for some time now and have recently got renewed vigor due to the Montreal sp's. But the damndest thing happened during my last session. I walked away with a negative attitude and don't seem interested in continuing. If you read the review you will note that it is very positive. But for some reason, during the session, I seemed to go off. I lay there after the bulk of the session, wasted after some intense exercise, wondering what the f@#$??? is happening. I lost interest -- in an instant!! Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I think

it is called having a conscience, or taking a guilt trip, not to be confused with a guilty conscience, if that makes sense. I have had similar experiences but it was several hours later, or the next day, not during.
Our society really doesnt embrace the fact that it is good and healthy to be able to have a good sex workout with no strings attached. We cant always pick up ladies in a bar so an SP is the next best thing.
I'm not a psych major, but I think we all have similar feelings from time to time, you just have to work out your motivation from hobbying and is it worth it. I myself have gotten to the point that I do not see SP's any more and prefer the SC.

Maybe the time of year?

FalconHawk,

I kind of agree with buckloner. Although, if this is the first time you have felt this way it could definitely be the time of year getting to you.

Personally, I don't hobby around the holidays. Cash flow is one reason , thoughts of XMAS and family the other.

way out in left field
This may not happen to all of us but with me, right after a really good time with a lady (professional or otherwise) the last thing on my mind is sex lol. You know, that old stereotype about us just wanting to fall asleep afterwards?

Do you think that could be it? That you had such a good workout that you just lost interest in sex (for the moment). Which leads to a question: do you still feel this way? Are you horny and want some lovin' but just don't want to have to pay for it?

Hey bud, if that is the case, I'm in the same boat. One of the things I long for the most is an intimate relationship with a woman. It kills me to have to pay for it but at this time, I/We have no choice if we want some......

I have had this happen on several occasions. I get to hobby infrequently. When I have the opportunity, I tend to build up the meeting to a point that the reality can be a disappointment. Even with some of the top SP's like Bobbi or Selina. One thing I have found lately though, is if I make a personal connection with the SP, I usually leave much more satisfied. I have an SP I see on occasion, she's good looking, but not beautiful. She's a little more mature, but not old. She's a little less expensive, so I can afford to see her more often. She's college educated. She now knows what I like and I can talk to her. I have had some extremely satisfying sessions with her and look forward to seeing her more often. Maybe this approach will help you.

Maybe it is the old definition of eternity. The time between when you come and she leaves.

You may have a point here. Thanks.

Falconer, it happened to me. Had to stop seeing the girl professionally. To this day we still remain friends but we can never go back to what we used to do.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'll have to think about that. Thanks for your input.

Thanks to all for your responses. Yes, tboy, I still feel this way. It was not the spent satisfied feeling you get after good sex. Its weird. I guess I'll just have to play this out and see. Let you know later. Thought the issue might be of interest to some of you.

Happy New Year to all.
