Trump is such a moron. He has no understanding of the military (I mean, he calls them suckers and losers). I guess he got triggered because he probably wants to issue illegal orders in the coming days/weeks/months/years....
I said in the threat about Hegseth's meeting with the top generals that he would probably be ignored if he or Trump ordered the troops to break the law. All military officers have a university degree, and the higher up you go, the more advanced degrees they have. They understand the role the military plays in the US, and how they are allowed and required to ignore illegal orders. As the Nazi's found out, just following orders doesn't shield you from getting punished. Now, does that mean some gung-ho Trumper in the ranks will do whatever Trump asks for? Sure. But the vast majority know the military is not political, and will likely refuse Trump's (or any president's) illegal orders.
