I don't know if he's still in CECOT or not, but wherever he is, it's not because he was an illegal in the USA.
Yes it is.
The US sent him specifically to be put in prison in El Salvador.
El Salvador said they have no crime on him, they have him there because they are being paid by the US.

You said that was justified by him being an undocumented resident.

Are you now saying that it isn't justified by that?

It is a crime. It's a federal offence in the USA.
Always possible I am wrong.
Feel free to show me the federal offense and the punishment involved, according to law.

I have no control over El Salvador's criminal justice system, however whatever they're doing has been very successful.
This isn't about El Salvador's justice system.
The US is paying them to hold him.
El Salvador has not accused him of any crime.

The standard is to deport illegals back to their country of origin.
But you want them put all in prison, since that's what they deserve.
The US should pay countries to lock them up.

And, of course, all this should be done without any due process.

His crime was that he was an illegal resident. So he was sent home.
Was he convicted of this crime?
Was he charged?

Or are you saying mere accusations are enough to justify sending someone to a foreign concentration camp now?
How long until people start doxing people they hate to ICE?

Illegals don't have to be charged or convicted of any additional crimes to be deported.

Or are you saying mere accusations are enough to justify sending someone to a foreign concentration camp now?

His status as an illegal was never an accusation. It was an established fact.

Why would a nation imprison its own innocent citizen at the behest of another nation?

According to whom?

This should horrify El Salvadorians. The US could have any of them imprisoned in their own country by paying their government.

Where have I stated any of this?

I'm not sure we're having the same conversation.

Money.
Also, because if you are a dictator, why would you care if someone was innocent?

That's improper entry.
You said residing in the US was a crime.

According to whom?

It hasn't been disputed.

Yes.
People are horrified by this.

Where have I stated any of this?

The US paid El Salvador to put him in prison.
You said that what happened to him as correct.
I therefore concluded you think people deported from the US should be put in prison (for the crime of residing in the US without documentation) in foreign lands paid for by the US.
And, since you have objected to it the whole time, you want this without due process.

If any of that is untrue, just say so.
We will welcome you to our side.
