Hey Durham,
I totally got ripped off today so I'm sending this to save all of you from falling for the same scam. Maybe you'd be smarter than me though and wouldn't have fallen for it. lol.

I wanted to book with Valeria from Leolist. I know... wtf was I thinking... pictures are of a really cute and fun looking girl. I reached out to her via telegram. I was going to book the 30 minutes for $200. She told me I needed to book online with 50% upfront and I would then get a booking code. Here is exactly what she said in quotes:
"To book an appointment as a first-time client without a member booking ID, I require 50% donations deposit before providing my services. This is for you to get a booking code you'll present to me as proper confirmation I'm with the right person I'm having a conversation with when we meet.."

I wasn't sure about this, but I thought, this sounds like a safe way for the ladies so I'll take a leap of faith. She said I could use PayPal or Apple gift card. I opted for Apple gift card for discretion. So I purchased a $100 Apple gift card and sent her the screen shot with the pin. She accepts it, then gives me another telegram contact and says I have to book through her "manager". I message them and I'm told "you only paid half, you need to pay the full amount to get the booking code.
I explained this isn't what I was told. I was told 50% upfront. The response was:
No, thats is the advance for meeting with Valeria. There's no way you're getting the booking code without the full payment so once you make the complete payment I'll send you the booking code. It's not done that way..

So now they're telling me the $100 was an advance, but if I want to see her I have to pay $200 all upfront before I even get booking details. At this point I'm feeling like I got scammed and I told them so. She tried to convince me now to make the full payment with another Apple gift card or PayPal and if I'm then not satisfied it's guaranteed money back or something.... I told them both, great. Give me my $100 back then. No harm no foul and we all move on. At this point I'm told, they can only give me a refund if I now pay the full amount. lol. So I'm supposed to give them another $100 so they can refund me the full $200 instead of them refunding me the original $100. I said, just send me a $100 Apple Card back then. I was stupid enough to send the $100 card, I'm not gonna be double stupid and send another.

I did tell Valeria, if she sends me an Apple Card for the $100 like I sent her and we can both move on. She refused and I did tell her that I'd be posting this review with all of her info a such.

Beware gentlemen. I took a leap of faith and got burnt. I hope now that this can save someone else from falling for the same thing.

Has anyone else fallen for this scam?

Every word of this is the truth. Anything above in bold is copy and paste from the messages. If anyone wants screen shots of our conversations for confirmation send me a message.

Sorry to hear about your experience, but I have to ask, why did you contact a person whose ad is 6 months old (beginning of January 2025)? One glaringly obvious red flag for me would be the area codes (Atlanta and Los Angeles) on opposite sides of the US. Another would be if she was charging $200 CDN, that would work out to less than $140 US which would be far less than what she could make if she stayed in the US. Personally, I avoid all ads that have a telegram or signal number. The same applies for ads that don't have a phone number and only have links to their Onlyfans website. I can watch free porn anywhere online, so why would I pay for an unknown person with unknown content on their Onlyfans page? Also, I am very uncomfortable sending deposits prior to meeting an SP, but that is a decision only you can make. Just my 2 cents

All you’ve said is fair and those were mistakes on my part. I’m new at this and had to get burnt I guess.

I was thinking, ok… his is safe for the girls to have me send half up front. Chalk it up to rookie mistakes…..

Did you at least report her to Leolist? There's a link on her ad, one of the reasons for reporting the ad is "This user scammed me."

Try to keep this in mind.
I find any ads that are not Asian with Nuru in it, are fake/scams.
If it's Asian then it's not going to be the girl in the pics, but still will provide the services.

Anything requesting apple cards or anything similar, just a scam!!

For me anyone that says they require a deposit via e-transfer, I just set as a scammer, I know there are a few legit ones that do require that, and I am missing out. But I'd rather just not deal with e transfers or anything like that.

I request a confirmation pic, something that is current. Today's date, a random name, etc.
A lot say no, and I know I miss out on real ones and some really good nice real ones, but again..
I have been burned, I have been assaulted and robbed. Glasses broken (idiot for bringing them in the first place).

At the very least try to keep to the top couple of suggestions.

Better luck next time!
