Vancouver tips?

I'm heading there next week and was wondering if any TERBites can recommend fun/must-see stuff there that's not the usual tourist traps.

GF is coming too, and she's somewhat open minded so we were thinking if there are any clubs near downtown we should visit...

Depends on what activities you enjoy. I have spent a lot of time in Vancouver and my favourite things include doing the Grousse Grind (1:12:34, I felt like a rockstar after), Gastown, Granville Island, White Rock, and taking in a visit to the Vancouver Aquarium.

Absolutely recommended is the adorable little water taxis that go between the aquatic center and granville island:
