Wondering how much stock hobbyists actually put in the "verification" widget on leolist ads? In other words does that actually verify they're real? My guess is no, scammers and fakes can probably fake that pretty easily...

It means nothing. B&S Asian and Latina ads do this all the time. All it means is the person in the photo holding the Leolist sign is a real person... Somewhere... Allegedly. It does not mean that is who will greet you at the door anymore.

My assumption after that is they use AI recognition to check pic's added to profile to the proofs on files.

A lot of "Verified" ads on LL recently are nothing more than advertisements for OnlyFans accounts.
With AI, those can be easily faked too. You really have no idea what to expect when the door opens. That's why independents always ask for a deposit; otherwise their walkout rate for be astronomical. Review history from reputable reviewers is always king. As for me, if I ever see low ratings in a review I completely write off the lady. There's plenty others to choose from that don't have stains on their reviews.
If its broken I don't try to fix it. Cheaper to replace than repair. (I'm talking about lawnmowers now.

Man, next year makes 20 years I've been doing this in the GTA. Things really, really have gone to shit compared to when I started.
Back in those days, independents would work for $180-$220/hr. Sure, you had scams - but it seemed like girls genuinely cared about giving good service and building regular clientele. And asking for money in advance was unheard of.
