Well tonight I videoed the tulip festival fireworks and wonder if there is some way I can take video stills and turn them into photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to save a video frame or frames as JPEGs?

I use Kazam for that. Kazam lets you easily convert your videos into a screenshot which you can convert into any photo format you desire.

I use the Linux version which like all Linux apps is free and works great.

I think Linux in the U.S. has a much expanded inventory of apps than here in Canada. Anyway, you may want to give Media Player Classic a try.

Not really. Linux apps/programs are available to everyone, all over the world. They are found in several Linux repositories and all FREE! In fact they number more than are available to M$ & Apple combined.

Been using FREE Linux for 10 years now. At this point in time M$ is very seldom if ever used and everything desired is done on Linux. It's nice to be FREE of M$ & Mac.
