Something to keep in mind if you are using a VOIP service (IE Primus Talkbroadband or Vonage), especially if your significant other has access to the online control panel.... it keeps a log of all incoming & outgoing calls & duration of them.

...just something to keep in mind before booking appointments at home... or at work (many businesses use VOIP)

just had to add on bit...

Do not, EVER expect privacy of the calls themselves to be ensured. There are a number of tools for intercepting, recording and generally messing with VOIP systems. Translation; just because its technical dont mean its any more private than conventional telephones. [which can be trivially tapped].

Modern phone systems like Avaya come standard with call logging.

Its got nothing to do with VOIP.

Voip call logging makes it simple and easy for residential use.

Poster brings up a good point, keep your spouse away from such things as control panels for anything technical.

Furthermore hide the TV remote in a different spot everyday - just to annoy her.
