I don’t know how to begin this post. I am really, really distraught. It seems that the love of my life, the reason I exist, has enlisted in the US Army and has gone to fight terrorism in the Middle East. As you may recall, I met Robin through TERB (he’s from Ohio) and we have been “Partners” ever since our vacation in Maui.

I am devastated. Robin is such a lovely man. Being Canadian it’s difficult to understand why your man would sacrifice his life for this cause, however, I can somehow understand his reasoning’s (God, I feel like a war bride).

Say what you want about Iraq, all I know is that my lover is risking his life on the line for his country.

That being said, we made hot passionate love all night long before he jetted off to a mini boot camp.

For all of you TERB war doubters, right or wrong, several young men are going to die in the Middle East. I only hope that my sweet, sweet Robin is not one of them.

The oft forgotten human element

With all the talk of high-tech weapons, smart bombs, and computer guided missiles, we often forget that human beings die in every war.

I wish you and your partner the best of luck for a safe and healthy return.

Zog.

Ref,

I know it is difficult to understand to word patriot. But for the life and freedom many have come before us, and sacrificed their lives so we may have a country.

It is this that drives Americans to stand up for thier country and make us willing to die for those we love. I know burring heads in the sand is the norm for most of the world. But Americans are Cowboys and that is a saving grace.
