I have been pondering whether or not to try out some of these webcam sites that seem to be all the rage. It may turn out that they are not for me as I am not really into voyeurism per se but I will probably give it a try here soon.

Just want to get the opinions of some others here. Do you like webcam sites better than straight up porn?

Webcam sites are interactive, you can chat with the girl. If that is something you like you will enjoy it. If you just wanted to see some action I guess you will prefer videos.

Look for the models that do not have hundreds of guys in their room, they will have time to chat. Like anything in this industry they are chattier and friendlier if you tip them well.

Basically they are online strippers and act exactly like you would expect a stripper to act, being flirty and friendly in order to extract money.

Agreed fully. As long as you think of it this way you will enjoy yourself.

MyFreeCams and Streammate are my favorites, although they offer very different dynamics.

Since Iève been working on streamate for 10 years now I think I will chime in on the gold show vs private chat .

Gold Shows are flate fee buy int ticket for a show, girls st their rooms at certain pledge amount, once the amount if is reached lets say $100 then they show will start. you tip in for the show sometimes the room will have a minimum pledge amounth some rooms the pledge in is $0 but there still is a full total amount to be reached. During the gold show you can tip in more as the show goes on. Some models will offer free videos and photo sets to highest tipper or if you tip a certain amount.

Many of them will negotiate Skype deals where you pay them directly, and you will get a much better rate than paying through the cam site. If you find one you like ask her if she will do that.

I've considered doing the cam girl thing and have done a fair amount of research, it seems like an interesting dynamic with its own pros and cons. I love the variety I see there- sure the very top girls are the same skinny tanned busty 19 ect... that you'd expect but as soon as you leave the first page there's so much else... body types and fetishes that you'd search for years to find a provider for even in a city as big as T.O. you can find and get a show. I could never get into the whole webcam thingy. I tried briefly watching one and although the girl was super duper hot it did not get me aroused in any way. The girl was playing with herself and every few seconds her PC would make a loud noise/notification (I guess a paying customer would make a request) then she would say thank xxx or kill the mood by lashing out at him angry.lol

I noticed sometimes they will put on a pre-recorded show while trying to pretend it is live.
