Webcam Question

I'd like to use my Logitech webcam as a security cam of sorts.

I would like it to start recording if it senses any motion in the room.

How can I do this? (Ive browsed thru the other posts on this topic but am still unclear.)

This is on a windows machine.

I got it from a friend who got it as a Xmas gift but didnt want it.

OK, I'm pretty sure yours is similar to mine

Go and click on the program and tell me what you see

Im not at the PC with the cam now.

But if you point me in the right direction I should be able to figure it out.

Well on my webcam you go into the program and click on the 'Activate Motion Detector' button
You then see a screen with a sensitivity meter. Move that meter all the way to the left and click on 'Start Monitoring'

You then have 5 seconds to get out of dodge before the contraption starts to monitor your room.

It automatically records motion
