Fake $100 dollars are being circulated which is no surprize but what surprized me is that the quality is good in terms of paper and it pass the detection machine. After a close inspection here is what the difference is that when you put it up to a light the hologram is very, very faint barely visible and the hologram 100 which is beside the big 100 is off center, so be careful everyone. Just take that extra step to not be scammed.:(

Just out of curiosity, if someone really wanted to pass a fake $100.00 bill, wouldn't they stand a better chance of doing it at the casino? e.g. (the blackjack or roulette tables) - the dealers never inspect the bills at all.

Nope....Even if the dealers don't inspect the bills they can be tracked back to a table/shift. From there, there are videos...

It's been good to know ya
I doubt even if they traced it back to a table and a person was unaware that they had a fake bill that they would have much success getting re-payment out of them.

The person could continue to deny that they had a fake 100 and even if they did they were unaware and that they do not believe that they did. Plus good luck in finding the persons address, name and ph. number without going to the police and having a photo in all the newspapers to hunt down the person for a mere 100 bucks.

Not only that, but over a very short period of time, I've seen a lot of different people throw $100.00 bills on the table on busy nights. Trying to figure out which $100.00 bill came from whom would be next to impossible.

The eyes in the sky at casinos see all. That's why dealers lay out the money and call the pit boss to check..it gives them enough time to process. The cameras at casinos are capable of reading the serial no's on those bills and they know exactly who traded them in for chips. You might get away with it once, but that's about it...

it would be very easy if they used a players card. but if you were dumb enough to do it and hand in a players card to get points .... well , you deserve to get busted.

unless that's going to be your defense... "why would I give my ID when passing bogus bills if I knew they were fake" I don't think you'd get far with that though.
