I think your clients will be more appreciate if you send them Emails to get in touch with them, instead of the other way around.

And I also think that not all your regular clients are member on Terb.

Actually I think that it is a good thing that CMJ has not maintained a mass email mailing list of everyone they have contacted (or even of all their members) and that they don't spam their members (though an opt-in newsletter as part of the new web site might be something CMJ may want to consider for the future).
