I actually do think oil prices are going to fall, to around 35.00 a barrel. I've got some 40.00 put options in case it happens. Basically, the conditions that have lead to the recent run-up in prices are unwinding while the long-term equilibrium price for oil is in the mid-thirties, which is where it'll eventually settle. That permanently-higher-energy theory is horseshit; sell calgary-centred office REITS while you have the chance.Brotherman said:doesnt everyone complain about gas. it was always high and always will be high. i dont see it getting any cheaper in the long run.
Did you read the thread? Esso is low on gas, and already out at some stations, thus $0.00 on the sign. Some 75 stations were closed in Ontario before 6pm.K Douglas said:Actually I've noticed the past couple of days that many Esso's from Mississauga to Markham have been at 0.00, either meaning $1/litre or their signs aren't working.
So what you figure everyone should just lump cause it won't change anyways. No wonder we pay so much for gas.Brotherman said:doesnt everyone complain about gas. it was always high and always will be high. i dont see it getting any cheaper in the long run.
