I am in the proccess of working out the final details form my website for riley royal. and I have been looking at my website in 3 different browsers FireFox, IE, and Safari some of my text of my site does not show up in some browsers but they do for firefox and IE.

I am wondering when you are viewing an SP websites what browser do you mainly use. so I an at least make sure my website displays for the top browsers.

Trouble with your poll is that it only allows one choice.

I use mostly Firefox, but some sites work better with IE (some Canadian gov't sites in particular don't want you to use anything else)

And I used to use Opera for awhile because there was an online game that worked best with it rather than Firefox or IE

Precisely my point when addressing the question of what browser I use most. It really depends on the view for some web site, because some web designers will build a site without thinking of other browsers and how a web site appears in each.

A lot assume the majority use Internet explore when if you view statistic relating to browser you will find they vary in types, from the older browser to the news....so yes it nice to have a flash design.....but will it work or not depends on the set up structure.

Another question to address also is during the design did the design think about ensure the web site would be well on its way to being full search engine optimized, as both design and optimization should go hand in hand….

Sure flash nice but is it search engine friendly!

The reason I mentioned the above browsers is because I use them myself in ensuring stability of viewing a new site. The answer is simple I do not use anyone browser less than the other.

So if you are looking for a quick fix solution …go look at your codes and bg images and ask yourself why? When addressing your templates?

If you build a site with Firefox and Safari in mind, it will probably work with most other browsers.

If you build with IE in mind, it probably will have issues with other browsers. MicroSoft is well known for not following W3C.

Firefox.

It's a nice looking site, quick to browse and gives the info I need.

One small note about your intro, ...get to know me better and feel to bookmark my website...
It needs the word "free" inserted after "feel".

I am working on the details. I am a bit of a perfectionist. and the designer did keep in mind all of my wishes. I will have a friend proof read my website as well.

I use IE7 but don't use IE 8 per my computer nerd (on Terb, quick replies always end up quoting the post your replying too automatically).

I think Firefox is better and so may be others.

Basically, Microsoft is shit (including their OS' but XP Pro ain't too bad), but I'm still on it because that's what most business or office environments use.

(RAZOR, that farking GIF attack dog is always growling at me and slowing down my browser whenever I see it).
FireFox all the way
IE pisses me off ... you try to clear/delete the internet crap on that browser and it still remembers your hotmail address..cccleaner doesn't wipe it.
secondly the copy past function is F#$ked on it

PS: i haven't any troubles with Gif animation messing with anything

Use them all except for IE. Mainly use Opera and sometimes FF.
