Where to stay downtown?

I want to stay downtown Toronto for a couple nights. I'm going to take in some of the exploits of the city. Looking for clean accomadation that is fairly cheap. So I have more cash to party with. Recommendations?

This time of year, as we approach the Summer tourist season, you're better off trying to find something on Airbnb. You can get a 1 bedroom condo w/balcony for less than the standard room at a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't bring SPs to the Airbnb though. Most of the escort agencies have incall options downtown anyways.

Yupp.. you want to stay near the core or Financial district area. South of College, East of Spadina (actually Bathurst), West to Church Street. Plenty of Airbnbs. Gives you easy access to TTC that is Subway, Streetcars, and uber is cheap. Great for walking around. Consider rooming house type stuff, basements, etc. Plenty of cheap options since you'll be out alot. And yes, alot of incalls so no need to bring anyone over.

Victoria Hotel. 56 Yonge Street. Yonge and King. Yes. It is a hotel and a little more than a hostel or Air b&b. but I liked it a lot. The location was perfect.

I like the Strathcona Hotel. It's across from Union Station so it is convenient if you are travelling by train and the TTC.

Just be careful of the airbnb....no outcalls...too many stories about surreptitious recordings.....
