I've been thinking of buying some tix to watch Canada Basketball. How much were they?

I get around.
/\ Triathlon is also sold out. :thumb:

I'm a volunteer, so will be seeing a few competitions - without buying tix. I signed up before checking the schedule and there are some events I'll miss because I'll be working. The rugby final at CNE is one that I won't get to see, and gymnastics finals also at CNE is during the afternoon when I have to be at regular job :(

The road cycling route through High Park is free for spectators and will be amazing to watch. Best places will be along the steep hill, and there are some tight corners at north end of the park.

Opening ceremonies and cycling at the velodrome in Milton.

These are the 2 events I tried to see at the Olympics in 2012 but were sold out. (I saw lots of other events though).

None.

I have a feeling extremely cheap tix or free tix will be popping up throughout the games. Just got to keep an eye for it.

Just like Rogers gave away free tix to Bills games to fill up the arena. Nobody would expect an NFL game would need freebies, but a combo of overpriced seats for lacklustre product = freebies needed. And that's just to fill a one-day event, not various events across two weeks like Pan Am.

Oh yeah I'm also going to the opening ceremonies dress rehearsal this week. Just for fun and a chance to see Cirque de Soliel do their thing.

As of today 57 percent of tickets sold (including tickets given to volunteers, politicians and bought by govt agencies)

You're lucky to have the time on your hands, but enjoy it.

What I don't like about these games is the traffic and difficulty or cost for getting a hotel room for my hobbying.

But I still wish the Games well. Let's hope it's a success, although I should try to go but right now, have no interest.

Track and field would be the events I'd like to see. I'll probably catch a bit on the news.

What do you bet that's a big chunk of the tickets "sold".

As for me, no desire to go to any of the events. Can't wait until they're over and roads are back to normal. Unfortunately that coincides with the end of summer!
