Many STD's are transfered through just basic skin-to-skin contact. Fluids don't have to be involved. Dry cocks on a dry pussies pass diseases. You seem to think that risk is when fluids are involved, that is not the case at all.

cold sores are associated with your nerves as they retreat into your nerves. That is why some people feel pain in their lower back when an attack is coming on. Cold sores don't appear inside the mouth they appear on the outside. Some peopel get a itchy tingling feeling prior to outbreaks in the area it will appear.

Why don't you just make an appointment with a doctor at the Hassle Free Clinic? You can discuss honestly with her/him about the kind of sexual activities that you (want to) engage in, the risks involved, and safer sex practices. No since you can spread the cold sore to other parts of your own body. That is why doctors recommend not toucing other parts of your body when you touch your cold sore. Although a cold sore is not usually big problem as it goes away, that is not true when it is spread to the eyes. You should see a doctor when you get a cold sore inthe eye as it has been reported it could cause eye problems.
