This reminds me of another thread where a few members got into a nit-picking argument about the legal validity of a SP who specifically will not see members of a certain race. You can argue the legality of it all you want, and you might not be wrong, but in the end, these policies will always exist for certain SPs. They may be rooted in racism, or stereotypes, or actual experiences in the industry (for example some SPs may have issues with clients of a certain race previously, and will choose not to see them going forward) There's little you can do about them, so why argue? The ladies should be able to see who they want, and just as important, who they don't want to see. Their reasons might seem stupid or racist to other people (and they may very well be), but in the end, it's their choice and a choice that must be respected. Technically it may be illegal to discriminate (or it may not be, I'm not sure) based on race/ethnicity, but as another member pointed out, no court in the country will force a SP to see a guy she doesn't want to see because that's tantamount to state-sponsored rape, and if a potential client has enough of an issue with it, that he starts citing legal precedents or charges a SP in a court of law with discrimination then he has problems far beyond being discriminated against
I'm not supporting racism or discrimination, but I do support a SP's decision to see whoever she wants, and her decision not to see whoever she wants. I may wish that her decisions would be better informed, and framed more gracefully than 'I don't see thugs', but again, it's her decision.
