Saturday I went to the big money expo, it was a full day from 8am to 5pm of speakers, and products your suppose to buy that claims will make you rich, and successful if you join their business idea of real estates and stocks, but that is not the reason why I went to the expo. I went because of Loral Langemeier, she was featured in “The Secret” dvd, and also on the tv series called Millionaire inside on CNBC.

It was really great for me to hear her speak. I got a lot of motivational words and insight of how I should make sure that I am a cash machine for life, and also making sure that I have a passion for EVERYTHING that I choose to do. but what made that day so interesting was the crowd of people who were there 20 to 40 years older then me who think they can change their financial life with some of the words said from the speakers who were dry and very boring, and not really that motivating at all. The only speaker that had some motivation and advice that everyone could walk out there and use today was Loral.

I got to shake her hand and ask her what time she was going to be speaking on stage I know I should have asked her a question but I really didn’t I needed to since I already knew that I was losing focus on being a porn star, and that I just needed to gain back that focus and motivation to be successful and keep my passion. Also what I found very interesting to see that even though at the big money expo they did not give us the right book they gave us Donal Trump’s new book - think big and kick ass in business and life book, and there was one guy at a table trying to hand out the books. and a riot broke out of people trying to get the book. I got my book and ran out the crowd as fast as I could. and made sure I was standing far away watching the other people literally act like animals over a free book. The people were only suppose to get one book, a lot of them came out with 2, 3 or even 4 books. and you know them walking out there probably about 10 of them are actually going to read it.

It's good to see you went there and tried to get "financial education", but the truth is, they took $129.00 CAD from you (or maybe $99 CAD as a special invite coupon), so you are out already. So many people are financially uneducated that these people trounce on the high numbers that "want to make it rich", like a casino, but this time they take a flat rate, others buy products at the event or sign up for additional newsletter clubs, cash-flow clubs, real-estate clubs. It's a farce.

People like Suzie Orman should be arrested, IMO. She motivates no one and takes the position everyone should be poor and stay within their means.....as in, their poor means for life. On the other hand, Robert Kiyosaki gives the best "advice" for those who are not financially educated, but even he takes money to fund his LLC. Much like a college costs tens of thousands, you leave with an education, but it costs $$. So this event and subsequent motivational speakers are just an economy pack college course in which you don't get a college degree that is the back-up push in the end. Kiyosaki has a college degree (even though he said he's dropped out of high school twice....but he still has a degree, so don't let his Aloha life fool you). They only sprinkle what you should know, but never lay the course, a plan, a strategy on how one should get there. If you ask them, their response is "I'll leave that up to you." Pay them $1 million and they'll give you $100,000.

In my strong opinion, I recommend reviewing people like Sir Richard Branson and his story. It's enough to know what to do and what risks are involved. You really only need to see his Apprentice style TV show (not Trump's NBC garbage) as it does make some sense like when that dummy was in that tub with Branson and decided to go over the waterfalls....Branson stopped him and told him "It's okay to take risks, but they have to be calculated". As for Trump, rather than looking at him or reading his "broken record" books, see what kind of team he has and what that team does. All Trump is is an advertiser of his product (now including his daughter Ivanka, who still doesn't show her belly button and is into bondage).

Money is in abundance. Those who go to that convention don't know that yet and will pay people to tell them. How many arrived First Class on Cathay Pacific to go to the event? How 'bout none. Good luck!

who said that I paid anything to attend. I did not pay for anything first ask if i paid for something.

The thing was free to attend, I did not spend a dime, and it was hilarious to see everyone rushing to buy something they have no idea what they are buying and have no clue if it will even work for them, or the people in their 50s thinking they can turn their life around over night.

HELL no I never paid a dime, and just like the power within expo, my ass volunteered for free . and got to see the event for free and watch more idiots spend money they can keep and change their life with really looking into themselves and find out what they really want to do.

I wouldn't have wasted a token on the subway to go there, or a dollar in gas to drive there. I wouldn't have wasted any breath to walk there. Sam I am.

BIG money expo?

All my money is the same size......did they issue new bills that I don't know about? Do I have to get a new wallet now?

What's up with that?

I can tell you how to make it rich, but chances are you won't believe me because I am not rich myself.

Maybe I should write a book telling other people how to get rich and then I will become rich!! LOL

I attended the Wealth expo in March, the one with Donald Trump as the final speaker. I got what I wanted out of it, signed up for an instructional in stock trading. Cost me $2k, but I have managed to get a 500% return on my original portfolio in 6 months of option trading. If you are focused, smart and diligent and want to make money, there is a ton of it out there.

that's a decent short term return... I have achieved that before, but no 6 month period is exactly the same.

what speaks better volume for me is that i've been able to average slightly over 25% aror going on 11 years now. tried options in the late '90s, and been into commodities since 2000 and 'real' real estate i tried but didn't like... but, the NYSE, TSX and Nasdaq are what works best for me overall. and i don't enjoy trading anymore. buy and hold stocks with 3 year average holding periods is what i do mostly. though, i am always game for anything that is radically out of favour. Right now that is real estate in the NorthWest Territory and anything related to the forestry sector. (forestry stocks are going through the same troubles airlines did in 2001-02)

keep with what works for you. and if you get something out of those seminars, then they are worth the price of admission or time of day...

Cheers.
