why don't people delete previous email addresses when forwarding Emails?

As the title says, why don't people delete email addresses when forwarding emails?

I have a friend that sends me sometimes 20 emails per day . Honestly I can't spend the time looking at all of them , some of them are quite length videos and I don't have the time to spend 45 minutes on her emails. Some of them are good, others are pretty lame IMO.
But, she forwards these emails and very rarely deletes the previous email addys. today I have an email and there has to be over 100 previous recipients . Why not take 30 seconds & delete them prior to sending?

Why not make that suggestion directly to the lady herself? It would seem no one has educated her on that tidbit of email etiquette.

Unless she's a terb member who stumbles onto this thread and recognizes herself, no matter how much discussion you generate here, she still won't get the message.

I'm shocked when I get emails from clients who send them to multiple recipients, meaning I can read the (sometimes real) names of everyone else they sent it to.

They should Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) when sending emails instead of CC (Carbon Copy).

yeah i get that too... so damn easy if someone with a wicked mind got their hands on such emails. I mean i've gotten emails with multiple addresses that were tied to big corporations etc.

All emails these days have an option to keep recipients hidden if you have to send the mail to multiple people.. no reason to have it all displayed.

btw anyone ever try googling their work or primary email? You'd be surprised at what search results come up sometimes. Exactly why I will never use my work or even an email that could identify me for hobbying etc.

Very obnoxious and one of my biggest email pet peeves only behind this - people who reply all to e-mails even when many of the recipients dont know each other. I hate that.
