I thought I noticed that too.

Maybe he's back to hobbying like before but without guilty feelings.

If you were Tiger, would you worry about the thing that cost you almost everything or the thing that brought you almost everything?

Maybe he's back to his old self but without having to cheat.

If he's focusing better, he isn't worrying about the divorce now.

I think Tiger could easily be #1 again.
There are many players who can be #1 now so why not Tiger?
I don`t think he will ever dominate like before but I don`t think anybody will dominate like Tiger did.
It could be several generations before someone else dominates the game like Tiger did, if ever.

Tiger Woods used to be a great golfer, one of the best ever. He's given a lot to the game of golf in terms of its popularity. But let's take a look at the last couple of years.

He hasn't won a major tournament since 2008. In 2009, he was still number one with 6 tour victories and over $10M in earnings. In 2010, his first season after his fall from grace, he had 0 tour victories and ranked 68th. In 2011, he has yet to win a tournament, and hasn't cracked the top 100 in earnings. He has tied for 4th in 3 majors in 2010 and 2011, suggesting that he his game hasn't completely left him. And his big drop this year is largely due to injury and not playing.

I think he will continue to be competitive, but wins will be few and far between. He's won his last major tournament. He'll never be #1 again. I don't think he'll crack the top 5.

I hope not.

Nice to see his new caddie is (for the lack of a better description) his "pimp procurer of women".

Nice.

I don't follow golf that closely. Or maybe its that I don't follow Tiger's sex life that closely. I am aware that he fired his old caddie. Care to explain?

Tiger Woods will not get back to where he was. Could he get to #1 again? Possibly, but he won't dominate again. He may win another major someday.

Personally, I'm not a golf fan or a Tiger Woods fan, and he ruined Elin and his children.

His latest hiatus was because of more damage to his left knee. This is the second time, and as hard as he swings, especially when he is trying to hack his way out of deep rough, I think the odds that it will buckle again are high. He can't keep swinging a golf club like he was 22 anymore. He has to adjust his game.

Did he have another operation on his knee? I think that's 3 or 4 on that same knee now.
Like all great athletes, at some point the body just breaks down. The torque on these pros' back and knees from swinging must be very high.

I haven't watched golf for a bit, but maybe if he loses a stroke on the drives because of the bad knee he could get it back at times with improved putting.
Is Tiger considered an excellent player on the greens now?
Trying to forget about hitting the hell out of the ball and keeping it in the fairway would do him a world of good. It's like what a catcher told Sandy Koufax late in his career. He told him he could get as much speed on the ball without throwing so hard. He was right, but by then Koufax's shoulder was already done.

Explain what?
I think my post clearly states "new" caddie.

There’s a slim possibility that Tiger will regain the #1 positon in golf, but I can’t see him dominating as he once did. What I’m looking forward to is the next time Tiger challenges for a win, will his competitors “melt” as they did in Tiger’s heyday…………… I highly doubt they will.

He has been putting very poorly.

Since they've parted ways, I think Steve Williams has made more money than Tiger.
