Windows question

I am almost embarassed to ask this question as it is Windows 101 and this isn't my first time on a computer. When opening a new window how do you set the system to open it in an enlarged or maximized mode? Every time I open a link I have to go to the top right hand corner and click on the maximize button. This has been going on since I installed a new 19" Viewsonic monitor.

Windows question revisited

Thank you for the input and the link helped in correcting the problem short term. Once the window is maximized and a new window opened, the system performs as expected. When IE - Explorer is closed and reopened we are right back to the original problem.

Question. How do you get IE to save the settings prior to closing?

rather than maximizing the window , just resize it grab the corner and just open the window up to what you want , then close the window and reopen , windows will remember your prefference as to window size and keep it till you readjust it again

set the settings to default and that should have all your screens mazimised to capacity .
